Mothers Day in Salons There’s no slowing down with your marketing opportunities we now have Mothers Day just around the corner on Sunday 26th March, this is another great opportunity to increase sales.

Brits spent over half a million pounds on products in 2015, sons spent £12.18 more on their Mothers than daughters in 2016, 2017 is set to be just as big.

This year we are reaching out for personalised gifts, treats with meaning and quality time spent with each other.

Marketing your promotions:

Always outline Terms and Conditions with any promotion you run in your salon to avoid any confusion or mis-selling

Be crystal clear in what you are offering – there’s nothing worse than purchasing a gift for someone, for them to redeem it and it’s not what you thought you were buying

Team up with local businesses – for this you will need to ensure it’s 50/50 give or take. A great way for both businesses to create awareness and network within your community. Examples are Jewellers, Florists and Chocolate/Sweet stores.

Always use # when you are a Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter or any other social media platform you use, all your posts come with the famous # #MothersDay #MotheringSunday #LoveYourMum #HappyMother’sDay #MomentsWithMum – Remember not to over do the #s though, 3 or 4 is more than enough for one post.
