How did you do in 2021?

The big question, but such an important one to set our goals and work out where we are heading in the first quarter of this year. 2021 we sadly cannot look at as we had our salon doors closed again.

View your forecast in SalonIQ

In SalonIQ go to menu > dashboards > salon dashboard > change the date range to ‘custom’ > 1st January 2022 – 31st March 2022. This will give you a guide and allow you to view a forecast for your salon, you can do the same thing monthly to look at a smaller range plus by team member, from the team member dashboard.

How many active clients do you have currently in your database?

• To find out this information go to menu > intelligent marketing > utilisation > top left hand corner will show ‘Total clients’ in your database plus ‘Active salons’.

Exercise 2

• Create a plan for your team to ensure details are updated for all clients

Your plan could involve sending a QR code via email/SMS before their appointments. It could be completing a form when they arrive at the salon or another method.

January can feel like a long month for some, make sure you schedule your team’s annual appraisals as soon as possible.

What can you go through in an annual appraisal?

• 2021 performance by year and by month
• Review KPI’s within SalonIQ for each team member
• Find out what their goals are for the year
• Understand what motivates them (this will more than likely be different for each person you ask)
• What incentives would they like to see when achieving goals in 2022?
