MOVA Hairdressing – why switching salon software was simple and easy

We recently met with MOVA who moved from iSalon to SalonIQ, they talked through the process below.

Tell us about Mova, what’s your passion, who do you cater for, what services etc?

MOVA has two salons in Surrey, and our promise to our clients is a warm welcome, expert advice and 5 star customer care. Our passion is to ensure each and every client leaves MOVA highly satisfied with their hairstyle, whether they’ve visited us for a freshen up or a re-style. We specialise in a variety of services, including cutting, styling, balayage, highlighting, colouring, hair extensions, perming, keratin smoothing, bridal & special occasion hair.

Why did you choose SalonIQ?

We had built up a strong relationship with David, the previous owner of iSalon, so it was a smooth transition with him.

How easy was the moving over process?

A smooth transition took place after feeling apprehensive to change such an integral cog in the works of the salon, with a great team leading us step by step.

What is your favourite standout features?

Weekly text messages to update each individual team member of their stats, and accessible anywhere.

What could you not live without? 

Two way texting was a game-changer for our business.
