Building your client selection

Follow these six steps inside SalonIQ to pull the right client group before you send.

Go to Marketing
From the main menu navigate to Marketing → SMS Campaigns and select New Campaign.

Choose your filter
Use the Client Filter to select by last visit date, service type or product purchase history — match the target group on your sector card.

Apply the criteria
Set the date range and service filters. Use the No future appointment toggle to avoid messaging clients already booked in.

Preview your list
Check the client count before proceeding. Too large? Tighten the filter. Too small? Widen the date range slightly.

Paste your message
Copy your sector's message above, paste into the SMS body and confirm the merge fields are pulling correctly in the preview.

Send a test first
Always use Send Test to Myself before going live. Read it on your own phone — check merge fields, link, count and tone.
